On 15th August, Rotary Clubs' team of twelve members and SAMAGRA'S team jointly and formally inaugurated the sewing & embroidery training centre inspite of continuous rains for last 48 hours. Everybody was happy to see the presence of good number of trainees. Two new sewing machines and required raw material was distributed. Members of both the wished for the success of programme. A light refreshment was served at the end of the programme.

The Rotary Club West, Dehradun came forward to sponsor the sewing, cutting & embroidery training programme proposed to start in Baniawala village near Prem Nagar. On 5th August two executive members of the Club along with Mrs Suchitra Agrawal visited the proposed centre and interacted with the women, who were interested to participate in the programme. It was decided to inaugrate the programme formally on 15th August, the Independence Day.
