Closing Program in Singhniwala Cutting & Tailoring Center

On 3rd October Samagra concluded a two and half months cutting & tailoring program in Singhniwala village. It is a remote village, one kilometer far from the main road.
25 girls & women learnt the drafting, cutting and sewing of the ladies and children garments. The trainees displayed their work and organized a cultural. Around 10 girls were illiterate, so they were taught to read the numbers and measuring table. Mrs. Beena Pokhriyal was the tailoring teacher, she did good job.
Samagra donated one sewing machine to the center and distributed sweets.
Mrs. Suchitra Agarwal motivated them to be self dependent and explained about the govt. schemes for women empowerment.

Gandhi Jaynti 2 October

2nd October this program was consigned by one of our class 6th student Preeti. She organized very well and children enjoyed.  Poems, Speeches and dances it was concluded with the distributed sweets. 







New Cutting & Tailoring Program Started Sahastri Nagar Dehradun


From 1st October 2017 a new cutting and tailoring program stated in Sahastri Nagar khala Dehradun. 24 girls and women registered for this program

New Cutting and Tailoring program Stated in Singniwal Village

 From 18th of July 2017, a new cutting and tailoring program started in Singniwals village, its 20 kilometer far from Vasant Vihar. 25 women and girls are learning cutting and tailoring skill in this center.

Samagra's Children Celebrated Teacher's Day

On 5th September Samagra's children, staff and teachers celebrated teachers day in Samagra premises. Children performed dance on Hindi and Garhwali songs. Samagra gave a gala party  to the teachers, everybody enjoyed.

71st Independence Day Celebration

Samagra celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm. This program was conceived and directed by one of our senior student Anita. All  the children were involved in our Or the other activity. Radhika gave a speech about freedom struggle and the cost we paid for our freedom. Mansi told the story of Lord Krishna’s birth as Janmasthmi was also on 15th August. Children performed on patriotic songs. Mr. J.N. Awasthi and Dr. Anil from DSSS (NGO) distributed stationary to all 72 students. Mrs. Sichitra Agrawal distributed packets of mosquito repellent  stickers to everyone. Samagra staff managed the sweet distribution.

Miss Munju's Birthday Celebration


 Miss. Manju Verma our science teacher celebrated her birthday with Samagra children and staff at Samagra premises children danced with her and sang birthday song.  Mrs. Suchitra Agarwal gave a gift on behalf of Samagra and wished her a long, healthy and happy life.  Miss Manju threw a gala party for all.
